As early adopters of Eurpoean influence, we’ve been building frameless cabinetry since 1985 within the parameters of standard American dimensions and proportions. Our International Metric (IM) Collection captures the luxury and sophistication of European style and allows designers to achieve an authentic, clean, contemporary look. As with all Christiana Cabinetry products, careful selection of only the finest materials ensures resistance to moisture, steam, water, and the demands of any high-use environment.
Designing for Metric European styling made in America with distinct beauty and lasting design
Cabinetry built in the US is scaled in inches, making it almost impossible for American cabinet manufacturers to replicate the proportions of European cabinetry. In response to the increasing demand for contemporary-style cabinetry, Christiana Cabinetry created the International Metric (IM) Collection. IM provides the clean lines of modern styling in a wide range of materials sourced from both continents.
Cabinetry in this collection is scaled in metric measurements based on the 32mm, which divides neatly by two (16 mm, 8 mm, 4 mm). These easily-divisible measurements produce horizontal width and height proportions that work beautifully together, with tight tolerances and clean lines.

Christiana Cabinetry produces an extensive array of cabinet configurations and sizes unique to Eurpoean/contemporary design. To accommodate the needs of American clients, we modified the IM Collection, making it more agile and fluid.

Doors and Drawers Satisfaction is open and shut
We offer a multitude of door styles in a number of finishes. Our recessed panel, mitered- corner doors are made from American white oak and finished in your choice of two standard stains or five matte paint colors. We offer several styles of flat-panel doors available in numerous, textured wood grain finishes or matte or high-gloss melamine finishes. You can also specify unique aluminum-framed doors, inset with a collection of specialty glass panels. For drawer boxes, choose between modern metal boxes or more traditional dove-tailed wooden boxes. Door hinges and drawer glides feature soft-closing action.
Boxes Sturdy and strong
We build our cabinetry from melamine-faced furniture panels which are water repellent. Every panel adheres to the most stringent international regulations for environmental and health standards. Cabinet interiors come in three North American finishes. Our unique hanging system means that each cabinet installed winds up level and plumb. Corner cabinets include an additional bracket to prevent sagging.
