Christiana Cabinetry’s commitment to the consumer has always been to provide the highest quality product. We believe that the earth does not belong to us, but rather we inherit if from our children. With that in mind, we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the earth’s resources. This responsibility has led us to explore ways to produce product that is formaldehyde/HAPS free for the environmentally/health conscious consumer.

Christiana Cabinetry is proud to announce the achievement of the ESP (Environmental Stewardship Program) certification by KCMA. What does this mean for you, the consumer? It means you can be sure that our products meet or exceed all KCMA/ANSI requirements for formaldehyde and other chemical processes by using formaldehyde free plywood as well as stain and glaze processes.

Currently our cabinetry is constructed of 100% formaldehyde-free plywood. In addition, we have recently made available a completely HAP’s, formaldehyde, isocyanate, and nitrocellulose free finish. There are no noxious off-gases, VOC is very low and finishes meet or exceeds KCMA and ANSI performance requirements. In addition, for quality assurance our products are manufactured either in house or locally through vendors who share our same philosophy on preserving the environment. All of our cabinetry is completely formaldehyde free providing safe products for you and your family.

The plywood we use is purchased only from managed wood forests in the United States. We are participating members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, and the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.
